Design Your Custom Clay Party

Depending on the size of your group, I can organize a custom-made pottery workshop at a large Ceramic Art Studio in Barcelona’s creative PobleNou district or for more intimate gatherings on a private terrace in the historic city center (weather permitting).

Learn how to make pottery while snacking and laughing with friends! Ideal for bachelorette and girls’ night, bridal showers, birthday parties, or corporate events.

3 Activities

Private pottery workshops are custom-made. The activities available to your group depends on the number of people and the amount of time.

1. Pottery wheel-throwing
I will demonstrate the basics of how to throw on the wheel and help you make your own ceramic pieces on the wheel. 2. Hand-building
I will show you how to roll out clay, shape it over special molds and decorate it by stamping with different shapes and textures such as shells, alphabet letters, buttons, stamps, etc. 3. Painting
Learn how to add that special touch by painting details with underglaze paints.

Private Instructor

Hi, I’m Amelia! I first started playing with clay as a child in Portland, Oregon. I have been living in Barcelona since 2005 and working as a ceramics artist from 2010. If you’d like to see my work, check out the pottery gallery and ceramic art on this site.

I speak English and Spanish. I love good food and wine and sharing good times with new friends!

 

Costs

Pricing starts at 30€/person/hour. The total cost of the event depends on the number of people in your group, number of hours for your party, activities, and catering.
