A plant-based weekend: flowers, plants, green crafts and sustainability
Flors al Mercat is a fairly new addition to Barcelona’s extensive offer of markets and weekend events. Now in its third edition, the market continues to grow with the same philosophy with which it was born, to cultivate the flower culture in the city with an occasion where you can buy all kinds of flowers, plants and related arts and crafts. You can also talk and learn about urban sustainability initiatives through different activities for all audiences.
This year I will be joining this group of talented artisans and plant-lovers to share my work. I’ll bring a funky collection of planters, including my new patchwork planters, more traditional rustic and minimalist pieces as well as new hand-built pieces inspired by nature. I also have lots of hanging planters and vases for your flowers.
Not only that, but I will bring a collection of succulents, cacti, air plants and house plants to sell! Gardening is another favorite hobby of mine, so I have a little jungle of green friends growing in my urban garden. (I’m also a vermicomposter, so if anyone needs worms, just let me know!)
Flors al Mercat takes place on the weekend of May 28th and 29th in the Pl. de Margarida Xirgu, Poble-sec, BCN.
